Thermocoagulation works on spider veins by sending a heat energy directly into the vein. This is done by passing an insulated needle directly onto the skins surface into the targeted vein, causing the proteins in the blood to bind and coagulate resulting in immediate removal of the vein.
Healing and down time will vary from person to person from small scabs to a white appearance for up to two weeks.
